Going to the cupboard at work to get tape. Cannot find tape. Ask for tape and am told tape has been put in cupboard. Look in cupboard, no tape - pens, pencils, hilighters, rubber bands, binder clips and lots of boxes of staples. Wait a minute. STAPLES binder clips. STAPLES paper. STAPLES invisible tape. Two piles. Old pile and the new one someone obviously just put there.
Sometimes on feels like a complete dumbass. :)

Rant: What is it that would allow one human being to dent or scrap another individuals car and not leave insurance, contact information on it. I am sick to death of the amount of money my fellow clumsy and at times malicious humans are costing me:
Scrap of my Toyota last year will cost $500 to fix. Misc. other scrapes and dings including one on the upper half of the door could run another $500 to $700. I just found a big scrape on the side of my truck, which has sat for months and other small one on the other side. Last year, the rear window on the Toyota was crushed by a peice of concrete thrown through the rear window (suspect is a boyfriend of a teenager down the street who drives a similair car and he's often mad at her.) That was $600+
What's the deal?!!

Just another manic Sunday
Happy New Year!
Things to be happy about - glad I'm not in the Ukraine (thanks for immigrating GrandDad!) where the Russians are trying to raise the cost of heating gas by 500% overnight. I'm sure it's just a joke - those guys at the Kremlin are such cards...

Not exciting but necessary. Have small areguement with daughter who is eating second lunch. She's claiming to control her diabetes with diet, but is not suceeeding, won't talk with the doctor about medication and gets upset when I bring it up...
...I know, as a diabetic myself that there are times I cannot stand having to stay in control and end up breaking out, but am I a good parent if I whatch her do that a lot and not mention it?
