Things to be happy about - glad I'm not in the Ukraine (thanks for immigrating GrandDad!) where the Russians are trying to raise the cost of heating gas by 500% overnight. I'm sure it's just a joke - those guys at the Kremlin are such cards...

Not exciting but necessary. Have small areguement with daughter who is eating second lunch. She's claiming to control her diabetes with diet, but is not suceeeding, won't talk with the doctor about medication and gets upset when I bring it up...
...I know, as a diabetic myself that there are times I cannot stand having to stay in control and end up breaking out, but am I a good parent if I whatch her do that a lot and not mention it?
